Yesterday was a NSD for me. Stayed home most of the day except to go pick up DD from a friend's house.
Today I got $1 from Greenfield online surveys deposited into my Paypal account. So a little extra income there!

I did a mystery shop a little over a week ago for an oil change at a car dealership. Today I noticed that the reimbursement of $38.64 was deposited into my account. I still am waiting on the shopper's fee. This mystery shopping company pays them separately for whatever reason.
I think this is the quickest I have gotten reimbursed from this company, so it was a nice surprise.
I will add this amount to my weekly deposit for extra income savings account. I need to make a section in my sidebar to keep track of this account now that the CC debt is over with!

Yesterday I did a mystery shop for an oil change at a dealership on my Honda. I've done these in the past many times on both of my vehicles. I don't often get to "sign-up" for these anymore due to a change in requirements in that they can only be done Monday through Friday. I used to always schedule the assignments on Saturdays since it was conveniently on my way to work. If there was a location near my full-time job (M-F), I would definitely get a chance to do them more frequently again.
Since I had off work yesterday(plus the vehicle was overdue for service), I figured it would be a good opportunity to see if any assignments were available and I was in luck. Fortunately, I was even able to schedule a service appointment at the dealership that was convenient for me also.
Anyway, the cost of the oil change & filter service was over $38, which I think is ridiculous when I normally pay less than $20 at chain oil change retailers. It is fully reimbursable plus I get a $8 shopper fee for completing the online questionnaire. You can't beat that!!
++++
Starting in January, I need to replenish funds to my savings account that I needed to "borrow" to pay off the 0% CC #3 promotion.
Also, since I am saving $71/month from refinancing my mortgage from 8.5% to 5% and going from a 30-yr to a 15-yr term, I think I will apply that to the principal of my car loan. My payments are automatically debited from my checking account, so probably instead of changing the paperwork to include a principal payment...I will send it by check monthly.
++++
I guess I will use the extra income sources for now (that I had been saving in a separate account to pay off the 0% CC) to add to my regular savings until it is fully funded again.
Have a great Saturday!

This morning at work, I found another dime in a hallway between treatment rooms. I've come to realize that my co-workers are really careless about dropping coins in the locker room. I found a quarter in there that was lying on the counter. I didn't pick it up until my shift was nearly over, just to see if anyone claimed it throughout the course of the day. Since no one did, I decided it was mine!
It's crazy to me that these people don't worry about the change they drop. The majority of my co-workers really have problems managing their money from what I see and what they tell me. I'll save that for another post though!
++++
Tomorrow Ebay is having a 50% off special on listing fees for auction-style listings. I don't have anything more right now to list. I sold 2 items so far this week, and 4 items didn't sell. I'll post profits later this week.
++++
I received $1.00 deposited into my Paypal account for a survey from Greenfield online.
Have a great night!

Today in the locker room at work I found a dime. I was so happy! What's with all the coins on the ground lately?? Oh well...keep them coming because I'm not ashamed to pick them up. Whenever my DD is with me and I pick up change, she is so embarrassed!
++++
I received a survey check in the mail today from Global Test Market for $50.75. I had requested this in early November. I was beginning to wonder if I should follow up on it soon, but it states on the website that you should allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of it. Surely not as speedy as Pinecone checks used to be.
I would like the Paypal option for Global Test Market too, but I don't think that is available yet.

I sold four items that I had listed on Ebay last week. When all fees were deducted I ended up with $19.50 in profit. I still have some items listed with bidders &/or watches. I didn't earn that much money, but I've very happy to be rid of some clutter around here.
++++
I received a $15 check in the mail for a shopper's fee for doing a mystery shop about a month ago.
I will add both the Ebay and mystery shop income to CC Savings for this week.
Have a wonderful evening!

Today, I received a check for $2.50 from Survey Savvy. Deposits in Paypal from Pinecone for $3 and $10 from doing a mystery shop. Finally, I found another penny at Walmart this evening. I will add all of this to my weekly CC deposit.
++++
Gas is down to $1.85 in this area. Since yesterday it dropped 0.12/gallon. I saw on the news that it is supposed to keep dropping to well below $2/gallon! Yeah!!

I am adding the following extra income from this week to my CC Savings Account:
$ 3.00 Pinecone survey
.01 Found money
$366.74 Saturday job income
I will deposit $369.75 into the account. At least I'm about one-third of the way towards my goal of $6560. About $100 more, which I hope to accumulate in the next week or two, will have me well on my way!!

I just checked the items that I have listed on Ebay and noticed that there are 3 watchers on two different items and one actual bidder on another!!
++++
Yesterday, FedEx dropped off a package that contained an item from Pinecone to test and give feedback based on my opinion of the product. I don't get many sampling surveys to do where you actually get a free product + get compensated after completing the online survey.
++++
I've decided that since my CC at 0% needs to be paid off by 1/1/09, I am not adding any extra money towards the principal of my new mortgage &/or the car loan for the rest of this year just to be sure I have enough money in my regular savings and do not have to rely on my EF to pay off the $6,560 Home Depot CC. I absolutely will not pay about 21%+ interest on that card, so I need to be extra careful about my spending for the rest of the year!!

I'm waiting to hear back from someone who emailed me regarding an item I have listed on Craigslist. I called him 2 times and left a message, but he didn't respond so I guess I have to be patient and wait for another prospective buyer to come along! This is my first experience with Craigslist and I don't know if I like it!!

I did another mystery shop at Texas Roadhouse this week. DS and I had a nice meal for $1.85. The total check with a tip was $36.85, but I get reimbursed up to $35. I entered the report online and am awaiting a deposit into my Paypal account in a few weeks!
Have a great evening...I'm going to watch Suze Orman.

I just went to Global Test Market to see how many market points I have accumulated because I knew I was getting close to 1000 (the minimum needed to cash out). I've come to find out that I have 1015 points. I should get another check in a few weeks for $50.75!! I really like this company...I easily get 10-20 invites each week. If I don't completely qualify at least I get a minimum of 5 points after answering the classification questions.
I also like Pinecone, but I have by far earned much more money with Global Test Market. It seems I hardly get any invites for Pinecone lately.
Have a great evening!

Today after work I am doing some mystery shops. Two of them are for convenience stores with reimbursement up to $1 each for a food purchase and gas, plus a shopper fee. I need to take some digital pictures at each location, upload them and complete the online report. The other assignment is a department store purchase and return that pays a fee of $10.
So I will be making a few dollars today since I am planning on being in that town anyway for an appointment.
Have a great day!

I sold an item on Ebay this week for $12.99. I have another couple of items on there that the auction will end in a couple of days with some watches on both of those items, so I'm hoping they sell.
On an online refunding site I traded some coupons with someone who pays a percentage of the face value on coupons that she specified she was interested in...so I made $14.02 for that.
Finally, I'm including the $4 for the Imsyt survey that I received in Paypal earlier this week.
So I'm adding $31.01 to the savings account for these items.
+++
Tomorrow, I have settlement for the refinance on the house. It will be good to see what the monthly mortgage payment will be now since I lowered the interest rate 3.5% from my previous mortgage and am going with a 15 yr. term instead of the 30 yr. The mortgage officer gave me a ballpark figure a few weeks ago, which was less than my current payment!! Smile
Have a great evening!

$295.96 Saturday job income
$ .10 Found money

This morning before work, I did a breakfast mystery shop at McDonalds. I got 2 sausage burrito meals for free after reimbursement. I don't go to fast food places much, so this was a nice, not-so-healthy treat!!
Also, I got a sample Schick Intuition razor in the mail that I requested a free weeks ago.
Last night I did several Global Test Market surveys. I have ~ 700 points accumulated. Only 300 more to go to request a check for $50!!

I received $2 from Greenfield via paypal for a survey I completed a few weeks ago. Not as fast as Pinecone, but at least quicker than waiting for a check!
In the mail today I got a rebate check for Spray n Wash in the amount of $2.48.
I will add both of these to my CC savings account.

I did 2 more mystery shops yesterday. The requirement was to purchase at least $25 in merchandise at each of these stores and pay for it with a major credit card. The employees at the stores were supposed to suggest opening a store credit account. That was the main point the companies were evaluating with these particular mystery shops. The cashier at Victoria's Secret invited me to open a store credit card, but I declined the offer. Not one employee at Kohl's mentioned the offer to me. Anyway, I will be earning $15 shopper's fee for each shop, so a total of $30. I got some moisturizers and body sprays at Victoria's Secret. At Kohl's I purchased some food storage containers and an egg slicer (both of which I was in need of).
The guidelines stated that the shopper could return the merchandise for a refund (after a copy of the receipt was made to scan and upload online) if they didn't want to incur any expenses. The cost after the fee of $30 was minimal, so I am keeping the items. Smile.
Have a great evening!

Today I received a check for $5 from American Consumer Opinion surveys, which I will add to my savings account for CC #3.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I discovered that I can now do Walgreen's monthly rebates online finally. It is very similar to Rite Aid's (which I am very familiar with!) I entered my receipt this morning and requested the check for this month. I should get that in a couple of weeks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After work today, I stopped at the grocery store for some fresh veggies:
3 pints grape tomatoes 0.99/each
2-1 lb. bags of baby carrots 0.99/each
apples 0.77/lb.
2 stalks of celery 0.99/each
I thought those were some great deals, at least for my area.
Have a good evening!

I've earned enough $ to request the minimum of $20 from my Discover CC. I'm going to add that "extra" money to my CC savings.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I was doing a survey on Your2Cents tonight, thinking that I had earned enough to request payment...only to find out that they increased the minimum payout amount to $10. Previously it was $5 not all that long ago. So anyway I earned $1 doing the survey this evening, but still need to earn $5 more to get a check.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Most of my items are selling on Ebay. I have about 10 more items listed for this round until I gather more items from my decluttering ventures!!

Today I received a reimbursement check from my employer for a continuing education course that I attended in July for $81. I will use that to help decrease my CC debt since I have already put it on a CC that I pay in full each month; therefore, I shouldn't miss the money from my checking account.
I also got an email notification that the $3 from Greenfield Online Surveys was deposited into my paypal account today.
So I will add $84 to my CC Savings account when I update the sidebar this week.

I am adding extra income from the last week to my savings and updating the sidebar info. The total deposit is $447.21!! It really helps that I am using my Saturday job income to fund this account.
$ 39.00 Texas Roadhouse Mystery Shop
Reimbursement
230.88 Saturday job pay
60.00 Contact Lens Refund Check
117.33 Saturday job pay
__________
$447.21
I have some more bids on the Ebay items I listed. One of the auctions is over tomorrow night, so I'm hoping to be able to soon add more $ to the CC.

I just completed an American Consumer Opinion survey worth $5. I should be getting that check in a few weeks. The survey only took about 15 minutes.

I took my lunch to work again, most of my co-workers went out to a Chinese Buffet. I took my DD out to Isaac's over the weekend and spent $24, so I didn't want to go out again today.

Yesterday, I got an email confirmation from Pinecone stating that I will now be getting compensation via Paypal. I signed up for that several weeks ago. I can't imagine getting paid quicker from Pinecone, as they are very efficient at sending out checks in such a timely manner...usually with in a week.
************************************
The direct deposit at my Saturday job hasn't kicked in yet. I should have received my pay in my account on Friday. I guess that takes a few weeks to activate it in the computer system. It is a small business, so I wouldn't think that it would take nearly as long as for a big company but who knows. The first week I was given an office check for my pay. I don't know what happened this week no paper check and no direct deposit.
************************************
Tomorrow I want to get some items ready to list on ebay or craigslist. I need to get rid of some of the clutter around here.
Have a great weekend!
