since I last posted an entry on here! I have been so busy with my children and doing yard work that I've only had time to occasionally get on here and read the blogs.
I also have participated in lots of surveys (both medical & general) plus I have been doing so many restaurant mystery shops too!
Even though I've been lax about posting on here, I am still tracking my expenses and extra income. Right now I need to run a few errands, but will post my total extra income deposits since it was last updated on 2/28 later on today.

This past weekend I completed a Pine Cone survey. Yesterday I got $3 DD for that. I also got an email rewarding me $10 for doing a medical survey. I need to choose a retailer from which I want a GC.
I'm getting lots more invites to Pine Cone surveys than I have in the past, so that's a good thing!

Yesterday I found a dime and a nickel while I was at the grocery store. I also got a $3 DD from Pine Cone in my Pay Pal account.
So I am adding $3.15 to my extra income account!

I'm hoping to list some items on Ebay today. I sold 1 item so far, four others are listed all with bids which will be ending in a couple of days. I also have to contact someone that may be interested in an item I listed on Craigslist a few weeks ago.
Yesterday while at the grocery store I found 5 pennies on top of a gumball machine. So a bit of extra income there!
Friday evening I did another restaurant mystery shop. It ended up being about $7, after reimbursement, for 2 people at a casual restaurant. Not bad IMO!
I received a DD in Pay Pal for $30 for a mystery shop payment, so more $ to the extra income account!

Today is a NSD!! I haven't even left the house.
Yesterday I found a dime and a penny while running some errands. We did another mystery shop on Friday evening.
I received an Amazon GC by email from Reward Port Surveys. It was for $10.
Today I listed 5 items on Ebay today. One of them had a bid on it. Another one has a watcher.
Other than that...not much going on here.
Have a wonderful day!

Today I did a few loads of laundry, which I hung outside. One of the children didn't empty their pockets, so I have 51 cents to contribute to my extra income for this week.
In addition, I received a $10 survey check today from Global Opinion Panels.
Last month I did a restaurant mystery shop which I got a $35 DD in my Pay Pal account for a couple of days ago.
Gotta love extra income!!

I have done three restaurant mystery shops in the last week. The food has been delicious. The service, on the other hand, especially at the one place was not very efficient with less than acceptable wait times after ordering meals. But all in all, not bad considering we can eat out for minimal OOP expenses due to reimbursements and shopper fees. I have another casual restaurant assignment scheduled for tomorrow night.
***
I have found a total of 2 dimes, 1 nickel, and 2 pennies over the course of the last few days while doing these assignments. So 27 cents in found money.
***
I got a $2 check from Survey Savvy on Friday. Yesterday, I received my Rite Aid monthly check rebate for $12.99. So a bit of extra money to send to the extra income fund.
***
Today is another NSD! Yeah!!

I completed a Pinecone survey this weekend. I received a PayPal payment today for $3.
+++
At work today, I found a penny in the bathroom.

I received a voice mail message from a scheduler with a mystery shopping company. I did assignments with this company previously. She stated that a mystery shop was available in my area. Generally, when a scheduler calls it means that a deadline is nearing and there are still assignments that need to be scheduled. Otherwise, an email is sent to make mystery shoppers aware of upcoming assignments and it is possible to self-assign a specific job.
Anyway, I suspected that the scheduler was desperate to assign a shop. I returned her call after I left work. She asked if I could do a restaurant mystery shop either tonight or tomorrow. The shopper previously assigned to this job failed to communicate with the scheduler and didn't enter the report online by the assignment due date. A $10 bonus was offered plus a reimbursement of $25 for the meal. Since I didn't have anything planned for this evening, I accepted the assignment. The scheduler kept thanking me throughout the conversation. I'm glad I made her day! When I got home from work, I gathered up the children and we were on our way to the restaurant. It turns out I spent $32.71 including tip. So I'm making a couple of extra dollars, plus a free meal!!

Yesterday I received a refund check in the mail for $5.19. Also I got a Paypal deposit for $33.17 reimbursement for a mystery shop.
Today I just traded some coupons with a fellow coupon fanatic. She sent me $2.20 through Pay Pal for those.
So a bit over $40 to send to the extra income fund!

Last Sunday I listed 5 items on Ebay. All of those are ending today. Each item has bids and plenty of watchers. I will be happy to get rid of some clutter and have some extra money.
+++
Normally I use Turbo Tax to do my federal taxes, but I'm researching other options this year. Even though I get a discount through an investment company, it stills ends up costing *at least* $50. I'm thinking about using Tax Act since it is free for everyone with no income limits...Does anyone have any feedback using Tax Act? I doubt that I'm getting a refund. I may just complete the online forms and save it. Then I can submit it closer to the deadline. We will see what happens...
+++
Last night I did another mystery shop at a restaurant. I just finished submitting the information online a bit ago. We stopped at Wal-mart to get a few things. I found a nickel in the parking lot and a penny on the floor near the exit doors.
+++
Have a nice Sunday! I will post the Ebay profits in a few days!!

I just visited www.toluna.com to see if any changes have been made since Greenfield online has combined with this company. I'm wondering if it is even worthwhile now to do these surveys because a minimum of 60,000 points are required to even begin to "cash out". Prior to the merger, you could request a shopping voucher if you accumulated 45,000. Now it is increased to 75,000 points!!
Other than Pine Cone and Survey Savvy, what are some other favorite online survey sites that you participate in?

According to an email I received today, Greenfield surveys is combining with Toluna surveys effective 1/4/10. If you want to request any survey money from Greenfield (that is sitting in your account), it must be done before that deadline. Otherwise, it will be transferred to Toluna.
I've noticed in the past few months that with Toluna (which was formerly Your 2 Cents *I think*) you need to accumulate more points than was previously required to "cash out". Oh well...

I had a mystery shop to do tonight at a casual restaurant. I will get reimbursed $35 for entering the information online. Our total bill, including the tip, for all three of us was $40.46. So in the end, three meals for $5.46. There are enough leftovers for another meal!

I get payments deposited in Paypal yesterday for $100 in reimbursements for 3 restaurant mystery shops + $3 from Pine Cone!
Then I went to Walmart for a few items which included yams $0.25/lb, celery $0.88/stalk, head of cauliflower $1.98, and broccoli $1.25/lb...all pretty good deals in my opinion! I found a penny at the checkout register there.
So I had extra income yesterday of $103.01!!

I recently sold 4 items on Ebay. I have received payment for 3 of those items. After the fees, I have netted $17.74. Not a lot, but certainly a little bit to add to the extra income fund, which I need to update on my blog.
I have still been keeping track of all my extra income, but will update my sidebar with the figures possibly later today.
Oh, I also got $3 in my account from Pinecone for a survey I completed last night!

Over the weekend, I did another Cheesecake Factory mystery shop. I wasn't as impressed by the service at this location as I have been at the other three that I've done.
Tonight I completed an assignment at Texas Roadhouse.
Tomorrow I have 2 to complete...one at a local hardware store plus a Rita's Italian Ice.
Nothing is scheduled yet for Friday, but Saturday I have an Orange Julius assignment scheduled.
So, I'll be quite busy mystery shopping the next couple of days!
