I got a rebate check from the October Rite Aid Single Check program in the amount of $114.60!!! It was all FAR items that consisted mainly of cold products. I had several coupons for the items too, so I made some extra money. Some of the products I won't use, but I want to donate them to a homeless shelter or another charity.

Also, I received a check from Citi Rewards for $65.21.

So a few more dollars for the extra income fund!!

Today when I was at Wal-mart I found a dime at the checkout area.


This week I received $49.43 in refund checks from Rite-Aid plus a few others. So a little extra money for the extra income fund!

Yesterday I got several checks in the mail. One was $4.64 for a Rita's Italian Ice mystery shop reimbursement, a $2 refund check, and a $2 survey check. So a total of $8.64.

I also got a sample box of cereal from Vocalpoint--Kashi Honey Sunshine.

Today I received $25.51 in refund checks from Staples and Swiss Tea.

I also got the CC rewards that I requested a few days ago from Citicard. The check was for $72.12.

So a little less than $100 in extra income in one day!!

I received a survey check from Your2Cents(now Toluna)today for $10. In addition, I got 2 refund checks totaling $26.77.

So there is another $36.77 in extra income to add to the account, which I will update later this weekend.

Today, I was out and about with DD and found a dime and 3 pennies in the mall while shopping for school clothes.

Today I went to CVS and got some school supplies, Softsoap Body Wash, and Blink Tears Eye Drops, and a bag of Sun Chips (just to bring my total to a bit over $20). After manufacturers' coupons, ECBs, CVS ($4 off $20) coupon, I made $2.73!!

I also had another $0.50 EB which I earned based on my spring spending. So that actually brings the savings to $3.23!!

I received a check in the mail yesterday from the physician's office for an overpayment on an office visit for DD. It is for $20, so I will include that in my extra income for the week.

Of course Saturday I worked. I got out about 1 hour early...last patients (a family of three) didn't show for their appointments.

After I got home, I did laundry and yard work. I mowed the grass, pruned some bushes, and bagged the twigs/weeds.

Then Sunday I had another Cheesecake Factory mystery shop assignment to complete. Since it was for brunch, the children & I left at 9 AM, as it was about a 2 hour drive. It was located in a mall, so we did some window shopping (lots of high end stores that I have never bought anything at). After that we went to a tourist area near the bay and spent all day there. I bought several books for DD & DS at Barnes & Noble there...cost about $42. Then we got some ice cream that was $12. Throughout the day I found a dime & 4 pennies as we were walking around. On the way home, we stopped at Walmart. We finally arrived back home about 11 PM. It was a fun day and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

I got $6.88 in refund checks in the mail this week.

Today I transferred a prescription from another pharmacy for DD to earn a $25 GC at Rite Aid. The copay for generic prescriptions is $15, so I profited $10 there.

I recently got reimbursed for the Cheesecake Factory mystery shop I did a few weeks ago. The repayment of monies spent is rewarded in the form of a GC, so I got $30 for that. I have another mystery shop scheduled there for tonight, so I am able to use the GC for the assignment. This one I'm doing tonight pays $40 reimbursement!

So I will add the $40 from the GCs + the refund checks to my extra income fund for the week.

Today I found a penny by the gas pump when I was filling up my car.

Then in the mail I received a Rite Aid refund check for $4.99 + the title to my car that I paid off last week!!

So a pretty good mail day and $5 to add to the extra income fund for next week!

Today after work I went with DD to Wal-mart. As we were walking through the parking lot to the store, I noticed some dollar bills in the middle of the road. Now I haven't found anything but coins in probably years. I was very excited to have found 2-$1 bills!!

Also, I got a refund check in the mail today for $2.99.

So a total of $4.99 to send to the extra income fund!

Last week I took a continuing education course one evening relating to my field. It was for 3 hours & cost $95. I paid for it several weeks ago, then this week my employer reimbursed me for it. Since I had already budgeted that amount out of my pay, I decided to mail a check for that amount to the car loan principal.

I got a Citicard Rewards check in the mail today for $52.71, so I will add that to the weekly deposit for the extra income fund.

I also got some samples in the mail that I requested online a few weeks ago--some coffee and a breakfast cereal bar.

It looks like Walgreen's is doing Register Rewards similar to CVS with the Extra Care Bucks as an alternative to their monthly rebate program...at least that seems to be the case in my area.

I earned $7.41 in interest from my various accounts in March, so I will add that to my extra income fund.

Yesterday I received a $10 check in the mail from selling an old cellphone at sellmyoldcellphone.com. I no longer needed it and it was an older model so I figured I could get a few dollars for it. I have some other cellphones that I plan on donating to a charity.

So another $17.41 towards the extra income deposit for the week!

My last principal payment of $70 has been applied to my account on the car loan, so now I only owe $2847.99!!

I plan to get a few more refund offers ready to send out today, then I must go to work!!

I have 835 points accumulated with Global Test Market. Only 165 more before I can cash out. I noticed on the GTM blog that in the near future, Paypal deposits & gift cards will be ways that they payout as opposed to only being able to request a check. So I'm looking forward to that

Today in the mail I received another $10.68 in refund checks. I also received the instant VIA Starbucks coffee samples that I requested a few weeks ago.

Today in the mail I received a refund check for $1.90....more $$ to the extra income fund!! Also, the $10 GC for Outback Steakhouse that I requested last week as a result of doing a health care survey arrived today. Very efficient! This is the first time that I've done surveys for them, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But I was very pleased with how quickly I received the card!

I stopped after work at the grocery store and picked up a cantaloupe, salad greens, collard greens, blueberries, etc. and spent about $13. I used a $0.50 off $6 of produce coupon that I printed from showing my rewards card.
