Ebay Buyer Didn't Pay!

So the buyer that I filed a dispute against didn't respond to that either. After sending a couple of messages through Ebay, I opened the case over a week ago. I just closed the case, since the buyer made absolutely no attempt to communicate with me and/or pay for the item which she won the auction.

I ended up relisting the item. Hopefully this time if it sells, the buyer will have the decency to actually pay for the item!

    I'm having more and more of that problem now that the feedback rules have changed.

    That's the annoying thing - you just have to drop it to move on. We are too stubborn, we wait until it gets resolved so the buyer has a mark on their record. Often takes 1-2 months though.

    We have a current "non-payer" - it runs about 10% of sales for us. If we list ten items, one won't pay.

    A trick that works to resolve it is to call the buyer. You can see their phone #. If nothing else, they will usually respond to your online dispute, if you call them. I think part of it is the shock factor. They always say, "How did you get my number????" Some have hung up on us, but then responded to the dispute online. phew.
