Last night, DD and I went to Texas Roadhouse for a mystery shop. Once I enter the shop details online I will be reimbursed $35 for the meal. On this particular assignment, there is a bonus rate paid of $4. Both of our meals totaled $35.58 including the tip, so I will make $3.42 on this mystery shop.
It was a tasty meal and best of all it was a free outing!!

Try volition.com forums. (If that spelling doesn't work, try a double l). They have a list of companies that do mystery shopping which you can put an application in at. Don't ever pay anyone money for a list - you can get started completely free.
Once you sign up for a company, they'll send you emails telling you about available mystery shops. Then you go to the website and apply for that mystery shop - sometimes you don't get it (someone with a higher ranking may have already gotten it, etc.)
Once you have one assigned to you, be sure to follow all instructions very carefully, and be very discreet - you don't want to be pegged as a mystery shopper.
It can be a lot of fun.
