Another Check

I got a Citicard Rewards check in the mail today for $52.71, so I will add that to the weekly deposit for the extra income fund.

I also got some samples in the mail that I requested online a few weeks ago--some coffee and a breakfast cereal bar.

It looks like Walgreen's is doing Register Rewards similar to CVS with the Extra Care Bucks as an alternative to their monthly rebate program...at least that seems to be the case in my area.

    Yes, I read the Walgreen's rebate program is officially over. I wouldn't mind quite as much if their Register Rewards were good for a month and not just 2 weeks. Maybe that's changed, I don't know.

    Yes, I am not a big fan of Walgreen's. Something always seems to create a problem - the register rings wrong or they give be trouble using my coupons, etc.

    I did go today since I had 4 of the free Contour meter coupons. I rolled those into free Ecotrin & Nivea bodywash and came out ahead by close to $20, so not a bad deal...but alot of brain power went into figuring out the best use of my RRs, and now I've got to use the $20 before they expire all too soon.

    I liked the rebates better. Smile

    I don't like the RR program because it's just nothing like CVS's ECBs. I find it almost impossible to use up the RR in two weeks since you can't roll them into the same deal over and over - or even into another deal with the same company. They're just too difficult to use. Yeah, I mostly stick with CVS these days - no hassles at all at my CVS.
